Charles Thomas Lawrence

Charles Thomas Lawrence, 80, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. He was born in Judsonia on May 29, 1935 to Edwin (Pete) Tredale Lawrence and Mabel Elizabeth Hollingsworth Lawrence. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and was a Baptist Minister. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his first wife, Lexie Mae (Nichols) Lawrence; a son, Tommy Lawrence and two brothers, Perry Blackwell and Howard Lawrence. Charles is survived by his wife, Jean Lawrence of Judsonia; daughters, Debbie Johnson and husband Rick of Pearland, Texas, Jan O'Dell and husband David Jr. of Bald Knob, Kim Caskey and husband JR of McCrory; a son, Tony Lawrence and wife Angie; step-children, Freddie and Barbara Grammar of Biscoe, Troy and Sherrie Grammar of Judsonia, Brenda Oshner of Searcy and Melanie Fowler of Brinkley; he loved his grandchildren, Sean and Ashlyn MacBeth of Spring, Texas, Lindz and Greg Wallace of Luling, Texas, Brittany and Fransisco Jimenez of Houston, Texas, Michael and Tiffany O'Dell of Bald Knob, Jeremy and Caitlin O'Dell of Searcy, Carey Johnson of France, Adam Johnson of Charlotte, N.C., Tiffany and Randall Cunningham of Beebe, Scott Lawrence of Judsonia, Justin Driver of McCrory, Jade Caskey of McCrory and Ozzy Caskey of McCrory; he enjoyed his 19 great-grandchildren; as well as his numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local food bank, your local VA or Diabetes Association in his honor. Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2015, 2 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
