Christie D. Mizell

Christie D. Stuart Mizell, 43 of Tillar, a teacher at McGehee public school passed away on October 13, 2015. Christie was born November 22, 1971 in Greenville, Mississippi to Sidney Stuart and Catherine Lawson Mizell. Christie's sister, Dee Ann Stuart Thompson preceded her in death. Christie was a member of United Methodist Church in McGehee and Arkansas Teacher Association. Survivors are her husband, Greg Mizell, daughter, Kathryn Dee Ann Mizell and son, Andrew Dale Mizell all of Tillar, Mother and step dad, Catherine and Dale Mizell and father, Sidney Stuart of McGehee and step mother, Diane Stuart of Farmington, Arkansas. Visitation held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Lake Cemetery with Rev. Joe Head and Eulogy by Vicky Glover. Memorials may be made to Christie Mizell Scholarship Fund C/O Merchant and Bank, P.O. Box 187, Dumas, Arkansas 71639.
