Debra June Carter

Debra June Carter Martin, 60, of Bentonville, died Oct. 16, 2015 in Springdale, after losing her battle with bladder cancer. Born Feb. 7, 1955 in Bentonville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Sarah Allen Carter. She was the widow of Larry C. Martin and was preceded in death by three sisters: May Powell, Angie Hoggatt, and Emma Jean Nelson. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Rhoden of Bentonville and Misty Guffey of Bainbridge, Ga.; one son, Larry C. Martin, Jr. of Bentonville; two brothers, Joe Carter and Danny Carter, both of Rogers; three granddaughters: Amber Searcy of Bainbridge, Ga., Melanie Martin and Lacey Martin of Pea Ridge; two grandsons, Mikie Rhoden of Bentonville and Joshua Guffey of Bainbridge, Ga.; one great-granddaughter, Ellesie Rhoden and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
