Roy Eugene (Buddy) Williams

Roy Eugene (Buddy) Williams of East End, Arkansas died unexpectedly in his home on October 18, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born November 18, 1936 in Brinkley, Arkansas.He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1953. Buddy retired as partner of Spann-Williams Builders, was a member of East End Baptist Church, and served many years on the East End Fire Commission. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mann Williams; sons, Roy (Bud), Mike, Dennis, Paul and daughter, Jeannie Hinkson; sisters Janice Spann and Kay Lynn Smith; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Buddy is preceded in death by parents, John and Virginia Williams; son, Joe David who died October 8, 2015; daughter, Phyllis Ann who died at birth; sister, Barbara Haynes; niece, Lisa Haynes and nephew John Perry Mangrum. A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2015 at East End Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Salem Cemetery.
