Gary Wayne Mars

Gary Wayne Mars, 65, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died October 20, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center at Fayetteville. He was born July 31, 1950 at McPherson, Kansas the son of Earl Vincent and Lucy May Pyeatt Mars. He was a member of the Hope Freewill Baptist Church and a welder. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Ray Mars, Michael Mars and Dennis Mars and two sisters, Glenda Mars and Brenda Mars. Survivors include: his wife, Sybol Evaun Allen Mars of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law; Gary Mars, Jr. and Tonya and Douglas Mars all of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Randall Mars and Heather of Farmington, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law; Sandra Rush and Eddie of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Rebecca Hart and Jason of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; five brothers, Delbert Mars and Steve Mars both of Lowell, Arkansas, Vernon Mars of Springdale, Arkansas, Donald Mars and Leonard Mars both of Rogers, Arkansas; three sisters, Linda Skaggs of Springdale, Arkansas, Janie Reynolds of Huntsville, Arkansas and Sandra Anfinson of Purdy, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 24 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Brother Jeffrey Hart officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfunerlhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Gary Mars Jr., Douglas Mars, Randall Mars, Joe Rush, Weston Mars and Steven Mars. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with the family present.
