Eunice Modene "Deanie" Hollman, age 89, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on October 26, 2015. Deanie was born on October 26, 1926 in Midlothian, Texas to John Rape and Edith Thompson. She was the youngest of 13 children. Deanie was an animal lover. She loved cats especially. She was a very independent and hard worker throughout her entire life. She was forced to retire at age 83. She was full of spunk, fiest, and wit! Deanie's children meant everything to her. Her grandchildren (and great-grandchildren) were precious to her as well. Deanie loved to hear her kid's laughter! She sacrificed a lot to provide for her children. She was a member of The Red Hat Ladies. She was a very good cook. She didn't have much time for hobbies, but she enjoyed talking to people. She loved providing holiday cooking for her family. She loved celebrating all holidays especially Thanksgiving and birthdays. Deanie was a business owner for most of her life. She owned and operated HR&I Meat Co. in Little Rock; Stu Hollman Enterprises in Hurst, Texas, and Sam's Club, as a food demo lady, in Sherwood, Arkansas. Deanie was of the Church of Christ faith. She assisted with "Meals on Wheels" with her daughter. Deanie was preceded in death by her husband, Stu Hollman; her mother, father, and all of her siblings. Deanie is survived by her children: Mark (Missy) Briggs of Bryant, Arkansas and Debbie (Mike) Tacker of North Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park. An online guestbook is available at griffinleggettresthills.com.
