Lowell Lee Farnsworth

Lowell Farnsworth, 91, died Monday, October 26, 2015. He was born February 29, 1924 in Bald Knob to the late Robert and Beulah (Melton) Farnsworth. Lowell was a retired iron worker, 33rd degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge #49 in Searcy, and a member of the Shriners. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 67 years, Beatrice Farnsworth; sisters, Maxine Holder, Mary Fields and Doris Farnsworth; a brother, Norman Farnsworth and one granddaughter, Robin Farnsworth. Survivors include his 13 children, Sheridan Farnsworth (Margaret), Robert Farnsworth, Danny Farnsworth (Phyllis), Phyllis Martin (Adrian), Shirley Wadley (Danny), Davey Farnsworth (Violet), Delma Rutherford, Terry Farnsworth, Jerry Farnsworth (Barbara), Lynn Farnsworth (Delores), Gwen Dodson, Wayne Farnsworth (Lynnette) and Sonya Mobley (Johnny); sisters, Alene Johnston and Pauline Higgins; 34 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at White County Medical Center-Unity Health and Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful care and loving support. Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
