Ronald Harris

Ronald Harris, 90, Bauxite; passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born May 17, 1925 in Saline County, Arkansas. Mr. Harris lived his whole life in Saline County and was a long standing member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Harris retired from Reynolds Metal and Proprietor of Otasco in Bryant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lessel and Harriett Harris of Bauxite and sister, Ota Mae Harris of Lonsdale. Survivors: wife of 66 years, Rose Kingman Harris of Bauxite; son, Steve Harris and wife Christy of Benton; three daughters, Ronda Tomlin and husband Arden of Benton, Cheryl Bosque and husband Edgar of Hurst, Texas and Carol Newbolt of Little Rock; four cousins, Karen Crowe Stevenson of Benton, Toby Richards of Benton, Bill Harris of Seattle, Washington and Dana Craig of Jessieville; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 28 at Ashby Funeral Home. Services, 1 p.m. Thursday, October 29 at Trinity Baptist Church with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park.
