John Paul McMains

John Paul McMains, 48, of Bryant, went to be with the Lord, October 27, 2015. He was born January 29, 1967 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to James and Maxine McMains. John was a devoted husband and loving father. He graduated from Bryant High School in 1986, where he played football. He then went on to receive his Associates of Architectural Drafting. He was a dedicated employee of 27 years at UALR as the Assistant Director of Planning and Capital Construction. He loved football and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. John loved coaching his daughter Amanda's softball team and son, Garrett's football team. John was preceded in death by his father, James. John is survived by his wife, Cynthia McMains; daughter, Amanda McMains; two sons: Bryant and Garrett Leidy; his mother, Maxine; granddaughter, Addison McMains; sisters: Carol Oliver (Tom) and Linda Squires; brother, James W. McMains (Teresa) and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. The Honorary Pallbearers are the Colts of the Cabot Youth Football Association.
