William "Will" McKinney Olson

William "Will" McKinney Olson, 15, of Batesville passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. Will is survived by his parents, Bill and Hayes Olson of Batesville; his sister, Peyton, of Batesville; grandmother, Betty Peyton of Memphis, Tennessee; aunts, Chalmers Valentine (Steve), Hallie Peyton, Linda McLaughlin (Tim); an uncle, John Hardy (Jenny); cousins, Stephen, John, and David Valentine, Taylor, Ethan, and Elliott McLaughlin, Christine Oien, and Robin Mierles; sister-at-heart, Victoria Morris; and a host of loving moms, dads, brothers and sisters from the community. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Yvonne Olson and Polly West Olson; and maternal grandfather, John Bronaugh Peyton. Will was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Batesville High School Pioneer Football Team. Will loved life and his sweet spirit captured everyone's heart. He had a remarkable group of friends. Whether hunting, fishing, or just hanging out, he was happiest when spending time with them. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2015, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Batesville with the Reverend John Drymon officiating.
