Elvis O. Dudley, 82, passed away on August 31, 2015 in Rogers. He was born on July 12, 1933 in Corning, Arkansas to the late Almus L. and Gladys E. (Morrison) Dudley. He was the loving husband of Mayme (Cox) Dudley for 59 years. Elvis was a Baptist pastor for 32 years, and a brick mason for 40 years. His love for the Lord was evident in all he did. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as the many children of his neighbors and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and all outdoor activities. His family loved hearing him share his memories of his Navy experience with his best friends, Lee Owen and Bob Hammond. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. Elvis is survived by his wife of Lowell; son, Sonny Dudley of Springdale; daughters, Connie Flint and husband, Jesse of Florida and Sandy Henson and husband, Blake of Springdale; brothers, Gene Dudley of Michigan, Melvin Dudley and Elvin Dudley both of Missouri; six grandchildren, Eric Shehan, Rachel Cooper, Morgan Bacon, Carter Henson, Caitlin Dudley and Alex Dudley; and two great-grandchildren, Lela and Jericho. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, Bob Dudley, Juanita Grisham, Betty Washam and Orlena Lipovsek. A visitation will be on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5 until 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cave Springs. His funeral will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1 p.m., in the church, with burial to follow at Spring Creek Cemetery, Springdale.
