Delbert Ruel Creasey Jr.

Delbert Ruel Creasey Jr., age 81, of Benton, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015. He was born July 4, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Delbert retired from Reynolds Metal and then went to work at Baptist Hospital as a boiler operator. He was a U.S. Marine having served in the Korean War and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Ruel Delbert and Dorothy Creasey; wife, Patsy Louise Creasey and two brothers, Eugene and Kenneth Creasey. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Creasey (Jeannie) of Benton and Darren Creasey (Cindy) of North Little Rock; two sisters, Joyce Sparks and Doris Creasey both of Alexander; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, September 5 at Ashby Funeral Home with memorial services beginning at 12 p.m. Bro. Richard Hamlin will be officiating.
