David Glen McNully

DAVID GLEN MCNULLY, 77, of Little Rock died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in Little Rock, Ark. Mr. McNully was born Aug. 8, 1938 to Sammie Roy McNully and Lucy Moore McNully and raised near Horatio. He became a Christian in the Horatio Assembly of God Church at the age of 13. At the time of his death, he was a member of and ruling elder in Park Hill Presbyterian Church, North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Garland Simer McNully; sisters Lahoma McNully, Viola McNully Alexander, Bera McNully Cook, and Lillie McNully Martin; and brothers Clifton (Bud), Sidney, Claud, Carlos, and Lemuel McNully. He is survived by daughter Annabelle McNully Trettin of Ashburn, Va., two sons and their families: James McNully and daughter, Georgia, of Sherwood and Hollis McNully and Pamela Daniele of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Hollis's children: Brandon McNully, Kristin McNully Pfister and husband Mark Pfister, and Lauren McNully, of the Atlanta, Ga. area; and honorary son Hollis Devasier of Horatio. Surviving siblings are: Lyda McNully Reinheimer, Texarkana, Texas; Lester and wife, Itoko, Tucson, and James and wife, Deanna, De Queen, as well as two sisters-in-law, Shirley Boyd McNully of Edmond, Okla., widow of his brother Claud and Patricia McNully of Shady Point, Okla., widow of his brother Lemuel. Mr. McNully loved his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including students he taught in De Queen and Gurdon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel in De Queen with his dear friend, Dr. Gordon Garlington, pastor of Park Hill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock, officiating.
