Michael Wayne Hendrickson

Michael Wayne Hendrickson "Mikey", was born March 31, 1982, in Searcy, Ark. He passed away on Sept. 3, 2015. Mikey loved fishing and hunting. He would catch, cook and eat anything. He loved to eat. Mikey was a hard worker who was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He loved his family and they loved him. Mikey had a strong belief in God and just recently began asking and searching for meaning and answers. He was not afraid to die and looked forward to seeing his old friends Homer and Lala, and also seeing his deceased grandparents. He spoke of it. Mikey has had more than his share of trials and illness in 33 years. He was tough and fought his way through troubles most of us can't even imagine. As senseless and tragic and heartbreaking as this is, we are excited for Mikey, as God has taken him to heaven and he will never be troubled with sickness, addictions, or any hurt again. Preceding Mikey in death were his grandparents, Loy and Billie Hendrickson; and his grandfather, Lyndel Winfrey. Survivors include his parents, Steve (Joanna) Hendrickson, Karen (Jerry) Cobb; grandmother, Linda Winfrey, brother, Steven Don Hendrickson, stepbrother, Justin Cobb, stepsisters, Rebekah Cobb and Shanna Watson and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mikey wished to be cremated and to have no public service, and his wishes will be honored and carried out by his family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Baptist Health and Baptist Health Hospice. Their care and concern helped to make a difficult time a bit easier. Services entrusted to Arkansas Cremation. Guests may register at www.ArkansasCremation.com.
