QUENTIN H. (BUTCH) BOWMAN, JR., of Jacksonville, Ark., age 61, after a courageous struggle with his illness, Butch went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015. Quentin was born Nov. 7, 1953 in Pampanga, Philippines to the late Quentin Henry, Sr. and Susanne (Sue) Bowman. Quentin was an Army veteran. Butch was owner of the Guillotine Barber Shop from 1989 to 2005 until he became too ill to work. He is survived by two daughters, Angela L. Gay (Kenneth) of Jacksonville and Shawn Epperson (Jason) of Russellville; stepson, Michael Conklin; and seven grandchildren; brothers, Quentin (Bob) R. Bowman and wife, Pam of Vilonia, James (Boe) L. Bowman and wife, Juanita of North Little Rock; sisters, Wanda Womack and husband, Neil of Sheridan and Brenda Bowman of Little Rock; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to his longtime friends, Jill Roemer, Joy Allen, Michael Hall, Jim Bransford, and Gary Rice. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the VA Hospice Palliative Unit. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209, (501) 455-5800; Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Graveside service following at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Pallbearers will be Zack Parrish, Jerry Allen, Jarod Lavender, Mason Lavender, Nathan Flury and Joseph Flury.
