Ron Ford, 73, of Batesville, died Sunday. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served on the USS Picking destroyer. Survivors: wife, Geneva Ford; stepson, Michael Smith; daughters, Wendy and Rose Ford; stepdaughters, Bertha Ann Musser, Lynn Pitts; one brother; one sister.
