Mary Edith "Edie" Railsback Gill, 49, of Star City, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 08, 2015 in her sleep. Known to her friends as Edie, she was born on September 11, 1965 to Glenn and Susan Railsback. Edie was born and raised in Pine Bluff and attended Jefferson Preparatory School where she graduated, later attending the University of Arkansas. For the majority of her life, Edie was a stay-at-home mother. She made sure that she attended every activity in which her children were involved. Not only was she a mother to her own children, but to many others. She also enjoyed being involved in several patriotic organizations including the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Preceded in death by her mother, Susan Crain Railsback, survivors include her father, Glenn Albert Railsback III; husband, Guy (Trey) Gill III of Star City; her three children, Randall Hollis Landreth Jr. of Dallas, Texas, John Leeton Landreth of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Susan Marie Milton of Conway, Arkansas; step-children, Guy L. Gill IV, Joshua Allen Gill; brother Glenn (Railey) Albert Railsback IV of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, her sister Dabney Crain Rich (Dave) of Star City, Arkansas, her nephews Jacob (Jake) Tyerrell Railsback of Atlanta, Texas, Jeremy Edgar Thumann and Samuel Enochs Thumann of Port O'Connor, Texas. Services are Friday, September 11 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Pine Bluff, with Reverend Susan Carter Wiggins officiating, A reception follows at the church. Visitation is Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Robinson's in Pine Bluff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
