Annie Pearl Summerville
Ms. Annie Pearl Summerville, 72, of Crossett, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La. She was a native of Sunshine, Ark., was a homemaker, and was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Carl Gilbert on May 30, 2007, her parents, Moses & Lenora Vaughn Summerville, and two sisters, Ruby Summerville Dickson and Sarah Jean Brown. Ms. Annie Pearl had a beautiful voice, she loved to sing and she also loved to cook.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Gilbert, wife Magnolia of Champaign, Ill., Darrell Gilbert, wife Kimberly of Crossett, Ark., four daughters: Charlotte Daniel-Echols, husband Orville of Olive Branch, Miss., Lynetta Daniel of Little Rock, Ark., Caren Summerville & Shameka Childress both of Crossett, Ark., one brother, Willie T. Summerville of Champaign, Ill., one sister, Bertha Sue Summerville of Champaign, Ill., 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Radford Jr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Bathal Gilbert, Montie Morris, Trevon Summerville, William Summerville, Kwesi Gilbert, Donyell Bolden, Claudell Clark, Derrick Summerville. Honorary pallbearers are Cephas Daniel, Reginald Patton, Rev. Julio Andujo, Charles Moore, Enoch Daniel, Chad Brown, Carl Whaley, Rev. Vincent Andujo, Rev. T. Broomfield, Raymond Frazier, the New Bethel Sr. Choir, Robert Scates, Jonathan Canley, Lavon Davis, Joe Monroe, Jimmy Thornton, Mike Sims, Claudell Clark, Maurice Herman, Thomas Wimbish & John Danley.
