Roger Green

Roger Green, age 74, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015. He was born Feb. 12, 1941 in Carthage, Ark. Roger worked as a millwright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Francis Green and a brother, Claud Green. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carolyn Green of Benton; son, Paul Green (Judy) of Alexander; daughter, Paula Shannon of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepchildren, Kevin Smith (Lori) of Alexander and Lara Pigue (Shane) of Benton; two brothers, Freddie Green of Bryant and Doug Green of Hot Springs; three sisters: Kay Ritter of Royal, Marilyn Boyd of Texas, and Bernadine Nichols of Eureka Springs; three children from a previous marriage: Sharon, Ronnie, and Barbara; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14 at Ashby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Doug Pruitt will be officiating.
