Joseph Anthony "Big Papa" DeSalvo, age 44, of Maumelle, passed away, Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born June 14, 1971 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of Thomas P. & Ida A. Wenger DeSalvo. He was a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Center Ridge, a graduate of Nemo Vista High School, served in the U.S. Air Force, employed 16 years at Molex, Inc. in Maumelle, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his parents, six brothers, Raymond (Wendy) DeSalvo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Andrew DeSalvo of Conway; Danny (Samantha) DeSalvo of Stuttgart; Donny (Misty) DeSalvo of Laredo, Texas; Louis DeSalvo of Plumerville; Hank (Erica) DeSalvo of Center Ridge; two sisters, Evelyn (Mitch) Garner of Springfield and Ginger DeSalvo of Center Ridge; 6 nephews; 10 nieces; and numerous extended family and loved ones. Preceded in death by his infant brother, John Thomas DeSalvo; grandparents, Tony L. & Frances DeSalvo and Ted & Amelia Wenger. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Center Ridge, with Fr. T.J. Hart officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home. Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at Sacred Heart Church, Morrilton, visitation following. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Joseph Church or St. Joseph Cemetery Fund, 343 Catholic Point Rd, Center Ridge, Ark. 72027. Pallbearers will be Brandon Garner; Jason H.
