Lena Lucille Drake

Lena Lucille Drake, 80, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away September 15, 2015. She was born March 18, 1935 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to William and Nancy Maesenholder. Lena was a loving mom, a giving friend and a dedicated member of her church who portrayed a godly example of service to all around her. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching football, eating catfish and being with her family. She retired from Maybelline after 20 years of service and maintained a perfect attendance while there. She was a long time member of Remount Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, I.J. "Bill" Drake; and one daughter, Glenda McJunkin. She is survived by daughters: Helen Sharp (Doyle), Barbara Adams (Dwayne), Anita Hill (Bud), and Sharron Salyer (Shane); grandchildren: Wendy Albright (Kenneth), Chad Adams (Amy), Billy Adams (Casey), Jeremiah Hill (Amanda), Gregory Drake (Ashley), Brett Salyer, Deven Salyer, Amy Brazil (Dustin) and Chasity Parsley; great-grandchildren: Blake Albright, Ethan Albright, Ashtyn Adams, Caleb Adams, Kiley Sample, Mason Adams, Jonathan McGhee, Emalynn Hill, Blake Drake, Ava Drake, Benny Drake, Parker Drake, Aaden Salyer, Alexis Parsley, Brianna Parsley, Dustin Brazil Jr. and Tyler Brazil; brother, James Maesenholder; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home with Pastor John Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
