Helen Louise Hopkins Thomas, 76, of Witts Springs, Ark. passed away Sept. 18, 2015 in her home. She was born May 3, 1939 in Hawthorne, Calif. the daughter of William and Evelyn Gahlbeck Doster. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sherrie Gomez; one brother Harold Doster and two grandchildren Kayla and Jacob Gomez. Survived by her husband Henry Thomas of the home; children Bonnie Zapata of Witts Springs; Carol Murray and husband Jerry of Sulphur Springs; Michela Oxford and husband Daniel of Gravette; William Hopkins and wife Mary of Grove; step-children Mark, David and Chris Thomas; Jonie Thomas and Jeanette Thomas; one brother Robert Doster of Sulphur Springs; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two step-grandsons. Funeral services 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Gravette with Pastor Glynn Bertrand officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
