HELEN JOSEPHINE GREEN was born Jan. 21, 1920 in Englewood, Ohio to Daniel Martin and Lillian Gene Bonner Rafe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Major Odie Reed Green; a brother, Harry Bonner Rafe; four brothers-in-law, L.D. Oman, Billie Green, Joseph Green, and Carlton Green. She is survived by five sisters-in-law: Laurine Oman, Helen Green, Marion Green, Ruth Rafe, and Lou Green and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Helen and Odie traveled to numerous places around the world through Odie's service in the U.S. Air Force. Helen was very active in the Officers Wives Club. She was an avid and very skilled golfer and a member of Rebsman Womens Golf Club, as well as former member of Longhills Golf Club of Benton. She was a loving and graceful lady who will be missed by many. Her funeral will be Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209, (501) 455-5800. Burial will be at the United States Government Little Rock National Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Helen and her brothers lived for several years at St. Joseph's Orphanage on Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
