Irvin L. Baughman

Irvin L. Baughman, 85, of Cabot, Arkansas died September 20, 2015. Born November 18, 1929 at Hattieville, Arkansas, he was the son of Walter and Emma Holyfield Baughman. A member of First Assembly of God of North Little Rock since 1992, he was a veteran of World War II and retired from AT&T after 33 years of service. After retirement, he worked for Avis Rent-a-Car for 25 years. He loved to drive. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, his family, but his biggest passion was the Lord; he made us all better Christians. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Walter Jr. and Bill Donald Baughman; a grandson, Cole Dorsey Baughman. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Patsy Keener Baughman; two sons, Irvin L. Baughman, Jr. Candace Ashley of Cabot, Ricky D. Baughman of Ward, Arkansas; two grandsons, Hunter and wife Andrea and Blake Baughman; and his number one girl, granddaughter, Payton Baughman; brother, Jim L. Baughman of Morrilton, Arkansas; two sisters, Sue Jones of Hattieville, Arkansas and Becky Weldon of Bedford, Indiana. And a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God, Burrow Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 with Rev. David Maynard officiating. Entombment will follow in Rest Hills Mausoleum.
