Irvin L. Baughman, 85, of Cabot, Arkansas died September 20, 2015. Born November 18, 1929 at Hattieville, Arkansas, he was the son of Walter and Emma Holyfield Baughman. A member of First Assembly of God of North Little Rock since 1992, he was a veteran of World War II and retired from AT&T after 33 years of service. After retirement, he worked for Avis Rent-a-Car for 25 years. He loved to drive. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, his family, but his biggest passion was the Lord; he made us all better Christians. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Walter Jr. and Bill Donald Baughman; a grandson, Cole Dorsey Baughman. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Patsy Keener Baughman; two sons, Irvin L. Baughman, Jr. Candace Ashley of Cabot, Ricky D. Baughman of Ward, Arkansas; two grandsons, Hunter and wife Andrea and Blake Baughman; and his number one girl, granddaughter, Payton Baughman; brother, Jim L. Baughman of Morrilton, Arkansas; two sisters, Sue Jones of Hattieville, Arkansas and Becky Weldon of Bedford, Indiana. And a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God, Burrow Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 with Rev. David Maynard officiating. Entombment will follow in Rest Hills Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to Dream Catchers Outdoors Adventures, 100 Mattie Lane, Judsonia, Ark. 72081.
