Johnny L. Rogers

Johnny L. Rogers, 74, of Beebe, Arkansas, died September 18, 2015. He was a member of Mt. Arratt Baptist Church. Johnny retired from Ford Motors after working there for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Rogers; daughter, Sherrell Newbern of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother, Katie R. Strong of Beebe; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Mae Rogers and Ollie B. Sloan, both of Las Vegas. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Rogers, and one son, Chris Rogers. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
