Karen Suzanne Maccree

Karen Suzanne Maccree, age 55 of Cabot went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2015 in Cabot. She was born September 24, 1959, in Avon, Ohio to the late Christian and Evelyn Smith Goohs. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister; Karen loved taking care of her patients in her nursing career; she enjoyed the outdoors especially working in her garden. She loved animals and was always taking in stray and caring for them. She looked forward to opening day of Oaklawn and getting a corn beef sandwich and watching the horses run; in her spare time she loved to needle point, and watch the San Diego Chargers; she was a big supporter of charities; she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her two children, son Shaun and wife Amanda Martin Maccree of Springdale, Arkansas; daughter Sara and husband Jon Osborne of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dakota, Hunter, Hayley, Rylee and Maisie; four brothers, David (Kathy) Goohs, James Goohs, Robert (Carolyn) Goohs and Charles (Patricia) Goohs; three sisters, Janet (Jamel) Cherif, Patricia Peterson and Christine (Fiancé Mike) Donaldson; Aunt and Uncle Jeanne and Wally Riegel; Eleven nieces and nephews; father of her children Keven Maccree and special friend Darlene and Porter Bailey and host of other friends and family. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday September 23, 2015 at St Jude's Catholic Church Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
