Travis Jackson Smith

Travis "Smitty" Jackson Smith, 93, of Monticello died September 18, 2015. Born April 20th, 1922 to Chester Dane and Cozy May Brown-Smith of Banks. He married Helen Cook and celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 13th, 2015. He was a retired WWII veteran, serving in both the Marines and Navy. He was an avid fisherman and worked at UAM 21 years as an electrician. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday September 23rd, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
