Bobbie Jean White Moore McMillan died peacefully surrounded by her children and other family on September 21, 2015 in Little Rock, Ark at the age of 84. Bobbie was born on September 24, 1930 in Gum Springs, Ark. to Ira Mitchell White and. Liddia Missouri Elliot White. She graduated from Arkadelphia High School class of 1948. Bobbie was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, her first husband and father of her children, Joe Charles Moore Jr. of Arkadelphia, and husband William McMillan of Arkadelphia. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy White of Arkadelphia, her children, Vicki (Mike) Houchens, of Carlisle, Jana Sutherland of Sherwood, and Greg Moore of Overland Park, Kan. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Melanie Parrish (Will) of Carlisle, Chris Houchens (Jeannette) of Pelzer, S.C., and Kyle Sutherland of Sherwood, two great grandchildren, Daniel Lopez and Toby Houchens, brother-in-law, Neil "Bud" Moore and his wife Lou of Illinois, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to being a loving mother and kind and compassionate friend, Bobbie enjoyed a 20 year career at Henderson State University. Funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, September 25th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, with visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 24th.
