Roy Cranford Trimm

Roy Cranford Trimm, 68, of Cabot, died on September 22, 2015. He was born on July 6, 1947 to the late Raymond Cranford and Helen Rebecca (Hendrix) Trimm in Birmingham, Alabama. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Delphine (Waller) Trimm. Roy was a retired Sr. Master Sargeant with the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He was of Baptist faith and member of the V.F.W., N.R.A. and American Legion Post #71. Survivors include his son, Scott C. Trimm of Cabot, two sisters; Willa Dean Martin (Jim) of Columbus, Ga., Deborah Trimm Gilbert (Charles) of Springville, Ala., one brother; Thomas H. Trimm (Debra) of Springville, Ala., and numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be at a later date.
