Gracie Lou Garner

Gracie Lou Garner, 94, of Hot Springs, formerly of Fordyce, died Thursday, September 24, 2015. She was born March 5, 1921 in Dallas County to the late Emmett C. and Isabelle Cearley Nutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband Orie Garner, her son, Michael Garner, three brothers, Carol, William, and Marlin, and two sisters Evelyn and Ozalee. She is survived by her son, Ron Garner and wife Melissa of Houston, Texas; daughter, Pat Rogers and husband Roger of Hot Springs; daughter-in-law, Hally Garner of Hot Springs Village; brother, James Nutt of Fordyce; two sisters, Nora Conway of Hope and Mildred Hudson of Camden; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
