Imogene Wilson

Imogene Wilson, 82 of Cabot, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015. She was born in Searcy, Ark., Dec. 22, 1932 to Burnie and Lillie Mae Simpson Nokes. Mrs. Wilson was formally employed with the Little Rock Police Department, as a cashier, she was retired and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wilbur Wayne Wilson, her parents, four siblings and two children, Jimmy Wayne and Anna Mae Wilson. She leaves two sons, Steven Wayne and Donald Gene Wilson both of Cabot, one daughter Susan Dian Wilson Messersmith (David) of Jacksonville, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchidren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Service will be Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
