Maxine McQueen

Maxine McQueen of Fayetteville, Ark. passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. She was born on Jan. 26, 1929 in Soper, Okla. Maxine and her family moved to Arkansas in 1970. She lived in the Springdale area until 1997. She then moved to Fayetteville and lived there until her death. Maxine was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall on Old Wire Rd in Fayetteville. She is preceded in death by her husband Jess McQueen and four of her five siblings. She enjoyed her family and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Minnie Herman of Hood River, Ore., her Son Glenn McQueen and his wife of Springdale, Ark., a daughter, Carolyn Goodwin, and her husband of Ruidoso, N.M., and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all and we look forward to seeing her again. A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1738 Pine Woods Rd, Springdale, Ark. on Wednesday, September 30 at 2 p.m. Ken Johannsen will officiate.
