Kay Frances Cordes

Kay Francis Cordes, 76, of Conway passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born Sunday, December 17, 1939 in Union, Nebraska to Ben and Myrtle Potts Neil. Mrs. Cordes was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Pilot Club International. Kay was business manager for Bill Dean Chevrolet and John Walters Chevrolet for 30 years. She went on to sell real estate for 15 years with Pam McDowell Properties. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jim Cordes, daughter, Kara Long and husband John of Fayetteville, grandchildren, John Graves, Luke Elliot and Caroline Rose. Other survivors include sisters, Helen Wolfe of Union, Nebraska, Betty Barrett and husband Clyde of Tyler, Texas along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church, 800 South Donaghey, Conway.
