Annie Lee Bentz Pratt, 101, passed away at home, April 3, 2016. She was born in Hamburg, Louisiana on June 28, 1914 to the late August and Effie Stepps Bentz. Having moved to Rhine, Arkansas when in the first grade, she graduated from Hummoke High School in Hummoke, Arkansas. She retired from Int'l Shoe Factory in Searcy, Arkansas, was a member of Alexander First Baptist Church and was a teacher of her Sunday School Class for many years. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Nellie Bennett, Agnus Carter, Nannie White, Margie Golleher, great grandson; Joshua Neil Pratt, son-in-laws; Frank Melton and Bo Alton, and daughter in law; Louise Holliman Pratt. Annie is survived by a son; Dale Pratt, daughters; Iona Melton, Patricia Alton, grandchildren; Charles, Tommy Neil (Kay), Tony Pratt, Jennifer Collie (Rick), Jessica Perkins (Danny), great grandchildren; Chas, Cory (Stacey), Collin (Lashey) Pratt, Jacob, Tommy Dale (Ruby) Pratt, Afton (Jachin) Woods, Lily, Clay (Sarah) Elkins, Bryce Perkins, Dustin Collie, great, great grandchildren; Mark, Moriah, Micah, Motley Pratt, Majetta Elkins, Micheal, Hunter Docterman, Parker Pratt, Drake Pratt, Alexis Bratton and Brody Woods. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas with the funeral following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Brother Boe Dickey will officiate.
