Ernest E. Smith Jr.

Ernest E. Smith Jr., 71, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on the morning of Monday, March 28th. Ernest was born August 25th, 1944 and was preceded in death by his wife Paula Smith and parents Ernest Edward Smith and Madelyn Elsie Davis Smith Westbrook. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Anderson of Benton; two children, Michael Smith and Michelle Young; and five grandchildren: Eva, Isabella, Christopher, Matthew, and Lauren. Ernie ran a successful business, Paradise Taxi in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, for 17 years before returning to his home town in 1990. Ernie was known in Benton for his 13 years at Bud's and Wal-Mart where he wouldn't hesitate to help friends and co-workers with their electronic or computer problems. Ernie will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, and a friend to all. Memorial services will be held in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
