Tommy "Buddy" Rasco Hancock

Tommy (Buddy) Rasco Hancock, age 71 passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home in Roseville, Calif. after a battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife Sudie V. Hancock and three sisters, Beth Anderson wife of Jerry Anderson, Suzanne Duque wife of Johnny Duque, Pam Newman wife of Larry Newman, and numerous relatives and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Lee Shephard Rasco and Tommy Hancock Sr., and stepfather, Pickens Rasco. He was born in Groesbeck, Texas and spent his youth in West Columbia, Texas where he graduated West Columbia High School in 1962. After graduating high school, he attended Texas A&M and in lieu of the draft he joined the army in 1965. Lt Col Hancock was a veteran of both the Vietnam and Persian Gulf War. After retiring in May of 2001, he started the company Temp Services of Arkansas. He not only took pride in his business but truly relished the friendships he made during this time. Over the years his staffing expertise and reputation led him to be recognized by the industry and his peers alike as a model of excellence. Tommy was generous to a fault. He had a passion for flying and also had a love of golf. He was a caring individual which was shown with his love of people and animals. A celebration of his life will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 at 11:30 a.m. Saturday April 9, 2016.
