Bryan D. Pinkerkton, 47, of Benton passed away Tuesday, April 5th. Born April 17, 1968 in Little Rock to parents, Charles and Betty Pinkerton, Bryan, also known as "Pinky", was a graduate of McClellan High School and went on to serve for four years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electrician's Mate. Bryan served his community for 23 years as a Firefighter with the Little Rock Fire Department, retiring as a Captain out of TRK 18. Bryan was a hard working man who was a loving husband, a wonderful father to his children one who was dedicated and loyal to his many family members and friends. He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church. Bryan was passionate about the things that he believed in and loved, such as his family and co-workers, NASCAR, the Philadelphia Phillies and his beloved dogs. Bryan had a great sense of humor, often demonstrated with great facial expressions, to the delight of his kids. Left to celebrate Bryan's memory are his wife, Shannon Pinkerton; son, Jacob Pinkerton; daughter, MacKenzie Pinkerton; parents, Charles and Betty Pinkerton; sister, Stacey Pinkerton (William Cortvriendt); sister-in-law, Holly Shield (Clint); brother-in-law, Robert Morgan Jr.; nieces, Hana, Nicole and Sydney; nephew, Tate and many other family members and friends. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 8th at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North in Alexander. Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9th with interment immediately following at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to Camp Sunshine, 210 South Gaines, Little Rock, Ark. 72201.
