Mary Margaret Hixson

Mary Margaret Hixson, 77 of Bella Vista passed away Wed., April 6, 2016 at Highlands Health and Rehab. She was born Dec. 14, 1938 in Paris, Ark. to Karl Glass and Jessie Mae Austin Glass. Mary was a School Teacher for over twenty years, teaching in Siloam Springs and Altus, Ark. She adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include two sons, James Hixson of Rogers and Scott Hixson of Paris, Ark.; one daughter, Kathy Johnson and husband Todd of Bella Vista; one sister, Kathy Mika of Pea Ridge; five grandchildren, Kasey Walls and husband Shawn of Conway, T.J. Rounds of Springdale, Jessica, Rachel and Rebecca Johnson all of Bella Vista; one great-grandchild, Aahna Combs of Hot Springs. Funeral service will be Mon., April 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
