Patricia Lynn Weeks, 65, of Conway went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 11, 2016. She was born Wednesday, October 4, 1950 in Millington, Tennessee to Arthur and Celestine Duckett Havens. Pat was an elementary school teacher and counselor for over 20 years at Ida Burns Elementary School in Conway. During one of her many years of service she was named Arkansas public schools counselor of the year. She leaves a long legacy of love and compassion for her family, friends and students. Her love of the Lord was paramount in her life and it was her greatest desire that everyone would come to know Him as she had. She is preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her best friend and loving husband of 45 years, Randy Weeks, mother, Celestine Havens of Conway, sons, Jeff Weeks, Joel Weeks and Jeremy Weeks all of Conway, granddaughters, Anna and Ava Weeks and sister, Becca Lefler (Dickie) of Conway. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 676 Highway 25 in Wooster, with Brother Cecil Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tom Fisher, Michael Goss, Chris Lambert, Derek Blackwell, Joey Fuller and Kenny Grimes. The family wishes to express a special thank you Dr. Rhonda Gentry and her nurse Kathy Lee for the love, care and compassion shown to Pat during her time of need as well as the special care given by the nurses and staff on 10A at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, especially Dave and Allison.
