Glen Buchanan

Glen Buchanan, 94 of Springdale, Ark. passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Springdale. He was born August 9, 1921 in DesArc, Arkansas to Lee Elmer and Florence E. (Stanley) Buchanan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Cross Church Springdale. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Geraldine Buchanan, son, Alan Buchanan of Pittsburg, PA, one sister, Edith Baney of Little Rock, Ark., one granddaughter, Carley Barton and husband Josh of Tyler, Texas and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 14th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
