William David Woosley

William David Woosley, age 63, born on February 21, 1953, passed away April 7, 2016. He was the son of William and Delma DeHart Woosley of Searcy, Arkansas. After graduating from Searcy High School he attended the University of Central Arkansas and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. After working in several areas, he returned to Conway and started his own business and has lived in Conway ever since. David was a life-long Methodist and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Searcy, Ark. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dwight Woosley. David is survived by his brother, Keith, (Peggy) of Conway, sister-in-law, Barbara Woosley of Baton Rouge, La., niece, Tammy Woosley, three nephews, Bishop Woosley, Robert Woosley and John Woosley, and their families. He is also survived by his business associate Tom Gauvey and his family who were like family to David. Last, but not least, his leaves his faithful and trusted dog Pepper to cherish his memory. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (100 East Moore St. Searcy, Arkansas) in the chapel. Memorials may be made to the Faulkner County Humane Society at P.O. Box 105, Conway, Ark. 72033 or a charity of the donor's choice. Cremations entrusted to Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
