Lona Rowlewtt

Lona Rowlett, age 97, went to her heavenly home, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Mount Vista Nursing in Harrison. She was born December 9, 1918 in Harrison to Loren and Annie Daniel Hudson. Mrs. Rowlett was a member of Union Baptist Church and former member of Centerton Baptist Church. She loved to teach vacation bible school every summer and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Lona is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, I.W. and Marie Hudson of Harrison; three nieces: Janis Blackwell of Houston, Texas, Joetta (Steve) Shaffer of Wichita, Kansas and Shirley (Steve) Storms of Tacoma, Washington; three cousins: Sandra (Glenn) Holly of Harrison, Shirley (Jerry) Young of Desoto, Missouri and Ken (Barbara) Hudson of Yakima, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank Rowlett. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Dale Huskey and Mathew Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Benton County Memorial Gardens in Rogers, Arkansas. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Roller-Christeson Funeral Home..
