Betty Jackson Nickerson

BETTY JACKSON NICKERSON, 70, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on Sat., April 9, 2016. She was born on July 27, 1945 to Andrew and Elva Jackson in Scott, Ark. She retired from the Arkansas State Hospital after 20 years of service. She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Jackson; mother, Elva Jackson Hardin; sister Gloria Igori; husband Larry Nickerson and brother Carl E. Jackson. Survivors sons Chuck Hendricks Jr. of Virginia and Christopher Hendricks of Germany; daughter Dominique Bankhead of Little Rock; grandchildren Scott, Alexis, Trevor and Raven; two brothers Charles (Jeanette) Jones of San Francisco; Edward (Shirley) Jackson of Little Rock; one sister Shirley (Lawrence) of Little Rock and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thurs., April 21, 2016 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock. Services entrusted to Larry G.
