Anni Christa (Konig) Fielding, 79, passed away on April 16, 2016 in Bentonville. She was born on October 10, 1936 to the late Fritz and Mathilda (Buchmann) Konig in Gross Hessepe, Germany. She was the loving wife of Leroy Fielding. She was an only child and came to America with her husband Roy and young sons in 1962. Anni was a dedicated wife and mother. Her main hobbies were reading and traveling to see friends and family. She also liked to crochet and needle point. Anni was a member of the Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church and German Club of Rogers She received her U.S. Citizenship in 1965 and went on to get an Associate degree from the Mississippi Community College in Blytheville, Arkansas. She employed Sharp International from 1976 to 1986 in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband of Rogers; sons, Dietrich Fielding of Southaven, Mississippi and Jerry Fielding of Germantown, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Jenna Renee and Hannah of Memphis, Tennessee and grandson, William Jay Brandon of Germantown, Tennessee. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral will be in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
