JoAnn Darnell Mullins, 83, of Little Rock, reunited with her family in heaven on April 19, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Rabun County, Ga. to Joseph Lex Darnell and Mary Emma Chapman. JoAnn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy in life. She enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, music, dancing, and spending time with friends and loved ones. JoAnn graduated from The Daughters of the American Revolution in Tamassee, South Carolina. She made her home in Arkansas with her late husband Seaborn Jackson Mullins. She is also preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Darnell Weeks. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Donna Mullins of Little Rock, Carla Benning (Rick) of Cabot, her sons, Michael Mullins of Little Rock, and Jody Mullins (Emily) of New Orleans; brothers, Albert Darnell of Lost Creek, Va. and Doug Darnell of Woodbridge, Va.; sister-in-law, Chrystal Wortham of Little Rock; grandchildren, Christina Young (Joseph) of Georgia, Tiphanie Gatewood of North Little Rock, Sarah Morris (Stuart) of Jacksonville, Cheri Hines (Robert) of Little Rock, and Triston Womack of Cabot; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street, in Little Rock, Sunday, April 24th from 2-4 p.m. Funeral will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 25th at 10:30 a.m. with Rhett Folse officiating.
