Katherine Speights Raynor

Katherine Speights was born to Robert and Blanche Speights on July 12, 1925, in Keo, Arkansas. At 18, she married Josephus Raynor. From that union, Katherine bore seven sons and two daughters, Henry Raynor, Cora Raynor (deceased), Josephine Raynor James, Charles Raynor, Nathaniel Raynor, Shelby Raynor, Curley Raynor, Lawrence Raynor, and Julius Raynor. Widowed at an early age, she moved to Allport, and bore four more children, Donnie Spates, Stanley Spates, Marcie Ingram Sherrill and Joyce Raynor and raised one more as her own, Kenneth "Bo" Raynor. She was a lifetime member of Community Baptist Church. She departed this earth Sunday, April 17, 2016. She left behind 12 surviving children, 39 grandchildren, and a sister, Maxine Lavern Speights. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ferdie Speights and Leslie Speights ;two stepsons, Norvell Raynor and Josephus Raynor Jr. Visitation: Friday, April 22, 2016, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. both services held at Allport Community Church, 110 N.
