Mary Harrison Stuckey

Mary Nell Harrison Stuckey, 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. Mrs. Stuckey was born in Bearden, Arkansas on April 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Jewel B. Harrison and Corrine Williams Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Stuckey who died March 13, 2016. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry W. and Don E. Stuckey both of Little Rock. Mrs. Stuckey spent her early years in Sheridan, Arkansas where she attended Sheridan Schools and became a member of the First United Methodist Church. She married Wayne E. Stuckey in December 1945 and became the mother of Jerry in 1948 and Don in 1953. Mrs. Stuckey resided in Little Rock during the 1950's where she was active in her sons' schools and Boy Scout activities. She later resided in Dallas and Temple, Texas and moved back to North Little Rock in 1969. She was active in bowling, bridge, golf and was a member of Maumelle Country Club for over 38 years. Mrs. Stuckey was talented in and enjoyed needle work specializing in making afghans and baby clothing for her many friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan from 1 until 2 p.m. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. also on Friday at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro.
