Mary Jo Timmerman

Mary Jo Timmerman, 83 of Sherwood died Tuesday, April 19th, 2016. She was born February 22nd, 1933 in Prattsville, Arkansas to Edward Pumphrey and Froney Massey Pumphrey. Mary's family moved to Chicago when she was 4 years old. When she was 10 years old she moved to Los Angeles where she lived until 1967 when she relocated back to Little Rock. Mary Jo was always in the banking industry, Vice President of 1st Federal Savings and Loan until the 90's. She retired from Merrill Lynch in 2000. She was a 40 year member of Sherwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 45 years, Richard H. Timmerman. She is survived by her brother, Charles E. (Carmen) Pumphrey of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Terri Timmerman of Sherwood, Ark.; granddaughter, Mary Grace Timmerman of Sherwood; niece, Carrie (Gene) Markle of Phoenix, Ariz. and an extensive church family and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood, burial following at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, Arkansas.
