Myra E. Finley of McGehee, Ark., age 87, passed away Tuesday, April 19th at her home. Born in Perryville, Arkansas to the late Hugh and Rhada McDonald Cook, she spent her childhood years in Perryville and in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a dedicated Christian and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in McGehee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kay Finley, brothers Kenneth and Jack T. Cook, and former husband and best friend, T.T. Finley Jr. Survivors include son, Tommy Finley of Warren; daughters, Janet Finley of McGehee, and Cheryl Shuffield and her husband Elvin of Little Rock; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
