Susan Kay Bates

Ms. Susan Kay Bates was relieved on Sunday, from the pain and suffering of her long term battle with diabetes and was called home to serve the Lord as an angel in his kingdom in Heaven. Tho physically frail from her debilitating disease, the strength of her spirit and all of the love and care in her heart was ever present and felt by her family, friends and loved ones. She is survived and missed by her loving sons, Nicholas Austin Bates (27), of Little Rock and Zachary Carter Bates (25), of Bryant, Ark.; daughter in-law, Andrea Bates. Her beautiful granddaughters, Ainsley Faith and Aleah Jane and her handsome grandson, Jaxson Wayne. As well, by her adorned sisters, Kathy Ann Wright of Camden and Karen Leigh Tanner of Cabot. Also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. A.L. and Mrs. Jane Sparks of Jacksonville, Ark. Her body will be laid to rest, beside them, after rejoicing and reuniting with them again in Our Heaven above. She will be greatly loved and cherished forever by all! Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
